<XIAC> History

A short background on how XIAC Australia started — and the hands-on experience behind our retrofit and upgrade work.

Background & Experience

Founded 2004 Service engineering roots Practical upgrades

XIAC Australia was founded in 2004 with a clear focus: extending the useful life of tablet and capsule counting machines through practical engineering, modern electronics, and serviceable solutions designed for real production environments.

Before founding XIAC, Michael van der Meij worked as a Service Engineer for Cremer Speciaalmachines in the Netherlands, supporting tablet counting and packaging equipment on customer sites. This hands-on field work included installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, commissioning, and reliability improvements.

That experience shaped how XIAC works today: retain proven mechanical platforms, modernise aging electronics, and deliver upgrades that are reliable, supportable, and built to last.
